Environmental Partners, Inc. (EPI) is seeking a full-time Environmental/Remediation Engineer for its Issaquah office. The successful applicant will have experience with multiple types of mechanical soil and ground water remediation systems as well as in situ chemical oxidation and enhanced biodegradation methods. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to evaluate, design, pilot test, and implement AS/SVE, DPE, total fluids extraction, bioventing, and LNAPL recovery systems. Experience with, and a working knowledge of MTCA and RCRA regulation and the RI/FS process are also necessary. The candidate will be required to manage all phases of a project from inception to regulatory closure and to work closely with other EPI staff. A proven ability to clearly convey ideas in both written and verbal format is required. Some travel may also be required.

Qualifications:

• BS/MS in Engineering, Advanced degrees a plus
• WA State PE preferred, EIT and substantial direct experience will be considered.
• 5 or more years experience in environmental consulting
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Strong technical writing and computer skills
• Project experience in Washington a plus
• Knowledge of MTCA/RCRA
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
